Impressiveone-piece pre-Columbian style monkey created by top Oaxaca artist Isabel Fabian. This sculpture is inspired by an ancient Mexica figure which is one of the most treasured objects exhibited in the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. This magnificent spider monkey has a flawless, rounded form so faithful to the original Obsidian treasure. Isabel re-created the shine of the obsidian figure by painting it with different designs, with a diverse spacing of linework, using white, gray, and black colors. A unique collector's piece!
