Magnificent one-piece armadillo by artist Rocio Fabian. Rocio is one of the most talented painters in Oaxaca today. The coloring of this very nice figure is spectacular and the painting just perfection! Take a look at the impressive red-wine design area which is inspired by the Zapotec weavings in Oaxaca. The curling, carved tail has little fish decorating it. This is certainly one of the most beautiful figures I have ever seen!
