Fantastic mythical Jackalope by artists Carlina Sandoval and Kengi Santos. Carolina and Kengi are married, in their 20s, and used to work for other big workshops. They decided to launch their own studio and create a name for themselves. They named their studio Gica. They create woodcarvings and mixed media pieces, sometimes incorporating textiles, metals, and acrylic sculpting. This fabulous jackalope is a wonderful mixed-media piece incorporating Oaxacan cotton thread from Jalieza to create the wings!
