Elegant tall giraffe handmade in Jalisco, Mexico by the Huichol people. The Wixárika or Huichol people are the masters of beaded art in Mexico and arguably the world. Beads are painstakingly placed one by one over the wax areas that have been prepared for beading. This gorgeous giraffe has a very wonderful decorated design of peyote flowers, scorpions, deer, maize, and lizards in addition to a great coloring.
