Huichol: Jaguar

Handsome jaguar sculpture handmade in Jalisco, Mexico by the Huichol people. The Wixárika or Huichol people are the masters of beaded art in Mexico and arguably the world. Beads are painstakingly placed one by one over the wax areas that have been prepared for beading. This forceful jaguar has a very nice decorated design of peyote flowers, deer in addition to a  great coloring.
