Jose Calvo & Magaly Fuentes: Zapotec Stingray

Jose Calvo and Magaly Fuentes create some of the most beautiful woodcarvings in Oaxaca. This stingray is no exception! It has a wonderful Zapotec fretwork painted pattern magnificently painted by Magaly. The stingray is beautifully carved by Jose, who gave it a great sense of movement and alertness. The tail-sting is removable for safe shipping.
