Luis Pablo is certainly one of the top Oaxacan wood carving masters today. He is known for his amazing creativity, innovation, contemporary use of color, and painting techniques. This time he created an absolutely fabulous gallo, rooster with great expression, and spectacular painting. The feathers are a fiesta of color...they reflect so appropriately the joyfulness of the Mexican culture. Magnificent!
