Inspired by a wonderful goat sculpture, La Chèvre , by artist Pablo Picasso, Luis Pablo created this fabulous wood carving. Luis Pablo's cabra is so flawlessly carved it, with curved and sharp-angled areas. The pure white base of the goat is the perfect canvas for the painted design. Luis Pablo decorated it with classic Picasso faces and geometric elements. The goat has a wonderful expression and stance. Luis Pablo is certainly one of the most talented and creative Oaxacan artists today and his rendition of Picasso's goat is magnificent a perfect integration of three-dimensional space with the two-dimensional painted design.
