Striking one-piece jaguar with passenger turtle by top Oaxacan artist Manuel Cruz. This excellent piece is flawlessly painted by Manuel's wife Ruvi, one of the top painters of wood sculptures in Oaxaca. The fierce Jaguar looks very protective of his turtle.
