Nicolas Mandarin: Horse Woodcarving

Elegant horse wood sculpture by Oaxacan alebrije artist Nicolas Mandarin. This figure is very nicely carved and is painted in classic Mandarin coloring. The horse's mane and tail are made of Ixtle natural fiber. I like the stylized figure of the horse and its beautiful face and stance!
