Handsome tall Mimbres olla by Mata Ortiz artist Paty Ortiz over delicate marbled clay. This is a very graceful pot decorated with her trademark Mimbres moon rabbits. A Native American legend tells the story of a rabbit that wanted to ride the moon. A similar pot by Paty was selected for the bookmarks Artes de Mexico magazine created.
