Gorgeous black, Gray, and White wool rug handwoven in Teotitlan, Oaxaca. This elegant rug was handwoven by the weavers of Teotitlan del Valle who use natural dyes obtained from native ingredients such as the famous cochineal beetles, needle bush, indigo, and Mexican marigolds, among others. The hand-dyed yarns are left to dry in the sun. Due to this traditional time-consuming method, it takes the artisans weeks to produce their weavings.
